The 1962 confiscation decision
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd volumes of Gizli İlimler Hazinesi were confiscated by decision no. 972/99 of the İstanbul 1st Magistrates’ Criminal Court, dated 15 May 1962. The decision is recorded in the list of confiscated publications in the Ministry of National Education’s Communiqués Journal.

Expansion of the abbreviations: confiscation (ban) by decision no. 972/99 of the İstanbul 1st Magistrates’ Criminal Court, dated 15 May 1962. Grounds: violation of Law no. 677 (the law on closing the dervish lodges and convents and prohibiting amulets, sorcery, charm-blowing and the like). The confiscation covers the first three volumes of the work; the work was reprinted in later years.
